DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Vegetarian — can I join the class? We totally respect vegetarians! That said, our classes are based on Basque cuisine, where fish and meat are key alongside our amazing local vegetables. The menu is fixed, so we’re not able to adapt it to vegetarian requirements. You’re very welcome to join to learn techniques and be part of the experience, though.
Vegan options — do you offer any?
Unfortunately, our class format doesn’t allow us to adapt the menu for vegan diets.
I’m celiac — can I join the class?
Yes! This class menu does not contain gluten, so you’re more than welcome to join.
HOW THE CLASSES WORK
What is the meeting point for the experience?
Our chef will meet you at the entrance of La Bretxa Market. Once the bookings are confirmed, we’ll send you the exact link to the meeting point.
What should I bring to class?
Nothing at all — we’ll provide the apron and everything you need.
I’m quite the home cook — is this class too touristy for me?
Don’t worry! Even if you love cooking, we’re sure you don’t yet know the secrets of Basque cuisine that we’ll share with you. These classes are designed for anyone who wants to enjoy a fun and unique experience in San Sebastián.
I have no idea how to cook — will I feel lost in class?
Don’t worry! Are you a specialist? No. Neither are we expecting you to be. We’ll make sure you learn and have fun in equal measure — and enjoy a delicious meal along the way. With us, there’s no such thing as a silly question.
Can kids join?
Minimum age is 14 when accompanied by an adult. To attend on your own, the minimum age is 18.

Will my class reach the minimum number of participants?
If the group does not reach the minimum of four people, our reservations team will contact you 48 hours in advance to offer you different alternatives. If at any point you’d like to check on the status of your class, just email us at info@sansebastiancookingclasses.com.

– Up to 2 weeks before: Full refund or non-expiring voucher. Up to 48 hours before: 30% cancellation fee, but you can still get a voucher or reschedule.
–Less than 48 hours before: No refund.
